Student Clubs

Student Clubs

We believe that extra-curricular activities play an essential role in the education and development of our students.  We recognize that learning does not only take place within the four walls of a classroom, and that extracurruclar activities provide opportunities for students to explore their interests, develop their skills, and build meaningful connection with their peers.

Clubs & Activities

Participation in extracurricular activities has been shown to have numerous benefits for students, including improved academic performance, increased self-confidence, and a sense of belonging and community.

Our school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, from sports teams and performing arts groups to academic clubs and community service projects. We believe that these activities help to enrich the educational experience of our students and provide them with opportunities to grow and develop in new and exciting ways.

We encourage all of our students to explore the extracurricular opportunities available to them and to find activities that they are passionate about. By doing so, they will not only be enhancing their own personal growth and development but also contributing to the vibrant and diverse community here at our school.

After-School Clubs

At Bisop Guilfoyle Academy, we consider clubs to be an integral component of the BG Experience. Students in all divisions, beginning in Grade 1, participate in clubs which meet during and after school hours, and are proctored by faculty. Some clubs are semester-based, others are year-round, and many have been long-standing traditions. BG students' input on new club formations is always welcome.

It is important to note that some after-school clubs may have limited space and may not be available to all students who are interested. Some clubs may require a certain level of skill or experience to participate. Students are able to participate in specialty clubs for an additional fee. Students are encouraged to speak with the club advisor for more information and to determine if the activity is a good fit for them.

Finally, students are expected to follow the school's Code of Conduct and behave appropriately during all school-related clubs.
