High School Experience

High School Experience

No two BG students have the same experience – by design.

Each student is unique, and their high school experience should be too. At Bishop Guilfoyle Academy, students are encouraged to explore their interests, discover their strengths, and shape a path that prepares them for life after graduation.
What makes the BG high school experience different:

  • Personalized academic pathways Students work with parents and counselors to build an individualized schedule based on interests, goals, and strengths.
  • Flexible future options

Students may pursue:

  • College-level coursework (up to two years)
  • Career-focused learning and certifications
  • Preparation for college, career, or both
  • Learning that fits the student Teachers support students in ways that help them learn best, encouraging ownership, confidence, and responsibility.
  • Opportunities beyond the classroom Students participate in athletics, arts, clubs, travel, service, and leadership opportunities that help them grow socially and personally.
  • Career & Technical pathways available Some students choose to complement their BG education through hands-on career training and industry certifications while remaining fully part of the BG community.
  • 100% student involvement Every student participates in activities or community service. Many are involved in multiple areas, learning how to lead, collaborate, and contribute.
  • A supportive, respectful environment

BG fosters a safe, welcoming culture where students are respected, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. By graduation, no two schedules—or experiences—are exactly the same. And that’s exactly how it should be.
